Joëlle Dudelzak is an associate in the Calgary office of Borden Ladner Gervais LLP practicing corporate and commercial law, primarily in the energy and electricity sectors. She is a member of the Electricity Markets Group and the Oil and Gas Group. Joëlle assists clients on a broad range of corporate and commercial matters, with a focus on mergers and purchase and sale of business and asset transactions of both public and private companies. Most recently she has been involved in negotiating various agreements related to the 170 MW Lone Pine wind farm in Alberta, and advised a large natural gas distributor out of Quebec on its proposed acquisition of a wind farm in Saskatchewan. She routinely acts for clients across the energy sector on due diligence related matters and the drafting and negotiation of commercial contracts.

Prior to joining BLG, Joëlle was admitted to the roll of solicitors in England and Wales. She trained at a large City law firm in London, gaining experience in the area of corporate and financial services law. While living in England for 9 years she tried to take advantage of cheaper European airfare and travelled as often as she could!
