Sandi Shannon is an associate in our Commercial Litigation and Arbitration Group in our Calgary office. Sandi focuses her practice on commercial litigation and regulatory law with an emphasis on energy law. Sandi acts and advises clients in regulatory proceedings before the Alberta Utilities Commission and was co-counsel to the Market Surveillance Administrator in its first contested market manipulation proceeding before the Alberta Utilities Commission. Sandi also assists with facility approvals (including renewable energy projects in Alberta and Saskatchewan), generic cost of capital and general tariff applications.

On a personal note, Sandi was raised in Kelowna, British Columbia, but has called Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Quebec home over the years. Sandi has also lived abroad including in Argentina, Austria and Switzerland.
